Hotel Consulting Leader Paul BreslinPaul Breslin is the managing partner of Panther Hospitality, a hotel consulting company that he founded in 2005. He heads a team of industry professionals who guide developers and hoteliers in all aspects of their businesses from property acquisition and infrastructure to the successful opening and operating of a hotel.

A 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Mr. Breslin is responsible for casting the vision and setting the direction of the hotel consulting company. Panther's successful projects to date include a $30 million dollar conversion project resulting in the Hotel Indigo Atlanta and the $145 million dollar Hard Rock Hotel and Residence mixed use project.

Prior to founding Panther, Mr. Breslin's hospitality career spanned ten hotels in nine cities, and included positions at the world-famous Fontainebleau Hilton Resort and Spa, the Sheraton San Diego Resort, the Sheraton New Orleans, and three high-profile Atlanta convention hotels. Prior to leading his hotel consulting company, he served as Managing Director of the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel where he led the transformation of an $80 million asset from an operating loss of $4 million in 2000 to a gain of $9 million in 2006.

During his tenure as General Manager for the Omni Hotel in Atlanta, Mr. Breslin oversaw the renowned $100 million expansion and development project and ensured significant gains in market share, revenue and profit. Transformed into a AAA Four-Diamond 1,000- room world-class convention hotel, the Omni earned national recognition for excellence from JD Powers and produced superior results for its owners under Mr. Breslin's leadership.

A passionate industry leader, Mr. Breslin teaches hotel management at Georgia State University's Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality. Respected by his peers, he has served in leadership roles with the Atlanta Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), the Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association (GHLA), the Georgia Hospitality and Travel Association and the Atlanta Hotel Council.

In addition to his work as a hotel consultant, Paul provides hotel expert witness services to attorneys specializing in litigation, bankruptcy, real estate, franchising, employment and personal injury.

Paul is also Chairman & President of the Shamrock Society in Atlanta, Georgia. The Shamrock Society is a group of Irish and Irish-American leaders in Atlanta who support Irish values of family, faith and charity, through Irish-related causes and charities and other charitable organizations. Each member is active in business, education, ministry, philanthropy, or government, and the Atlanta community.


Cher Breslin, Partner / Advisor

As Vice Chairperson of the Parent Teacher Association Board for Vanderlyn Elementary School , Cher works with the school administration to improve the education of the entire student body. Concurrently, Cher is the Chairperson of the Hospitality Committee for Dunwoody Community Church , Vice Chairperson of the Parent Teacher Association for Peachtree Charter Middle school and Co-Chair of the Hospitality Committee. She is also an active member of the Peachtree Charter Middle school Facilities Committee, involved in the overseeing of building operations and issues as well as the 40 million dollar expansion. Her active community service, combined with her role as a mother of three middle-school aged children and managing the affairs of home, Cher has significantly honed her organizational skills. With Panther Hospitality Holdings, she now combined them with her experience and education within the hospitality industry.

Cher has enjoyed more than 20 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry at hotels and restaurants such as Chart House restaurants, Le Meridian Hotels and Resorts, Hyatt Hotels and Sheraton Hotels and Resorts. Cher has an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Monroe Community College , a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Hotel and Restaurant Management, and a Masters Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Florida International University during which time she was noted on the Who's Who of academic achievement.
